„Maker space” – A tool for building a favorable image of the library

The subject of the article is the concept of introducing creative work spaces in the libraries, also called maker space. The aim is to identify the potential of such spaces with regards to the promotion of library services as well as building a positive image of various library types. As a result of conducted analysis, the conclusions with regards to the opportunities and threats associated with creating a maker space in libraries are formulated.Przedmiot artykułu stanowi koncepcja tworzenie w bibliotekach przestrzeni pracy kreatywnej, tzw. maker space.
